Since ancient times humanity has been dancing. Dance was sacred and a way of connecting with spirit.
Dancing in a state of “trance” as a way of accessing the healing powers and the wisdom of spirit, nature, the invisible world.
Ritual Trance Dance is a contemporary ritual created and developed in the late 1980s at the Natale Institute in Houston, USA.
It has this ancestral, animistic, shamanic root of using dance, movement and rhythm as a way of connecting with something greater than ourselves, of acquiring wisdom and expanding our consciousness.
Trance Dance is a catalyst for awareness, experience, wisdom, clarity, expanding the inner universe and opening up new possibilities ... The purpose of Ritual Trance Dance is evolution, transformation... the awakening of the body's intelligence and wisdom and the activation of the heart's vision!
The ritual is done with a blindfold, enhancing the awakening of the inner vision and the other senses beyond the vision.

A special breath is done and the dance is free, with no predefined steps, no worries of right or wrong, allowing spontaneous, authentic and intuitive movement to arise. An opportunity to explore your inner world and consciousness through movement.
The ritual is dedicated to a personal intention. A question or something that the participant would like to clarify, transform or let go of in himself or in life, etc.
Ritual Trance Dance is a gateway to a dimension outside the space and time of ordinary reality where it is possible to obtain greater clarity and awareness, wisdom and vision about ourselves, about our life and the reality that surrounds us.
Ritual Trance Dance is a non-linear journey and the destination is the same as that of meditation.

CANCELLATIONS / WITHDRAWALS
a) There is no refund of the amount paid for withdrawal/cancellation of the participant less than 15 days from the date of the Ritual Trance Dance
(It may, however, and depending on the justification presented:
1- Be transferred 50% of the value to another event of the organization;
2- The exchange of the ticket for another participant that will come through the participant who canceled);
b) 70% refund for cancellations up to 15 days before the Ritual Trance Dance;
c) In case of cancellation by the organization, the amount will be refunded in full.

About Wilbert Alix Co-creator of Trance Dance Founder of Trance Dance International "Wilbert Alix was a really important person for me and really dear to my heart. One of this persons that we don´t meet many in a lifetime. It was with him that I was trained as Trance Dance facilitator in 2006. He was until a certain point in my life the only teacher which work and knowledge touched deeply my soul. Later we became partners and shared our lives for almost 7 years. In this time I assisted Wilbert work and apprentice with him in the Trance Dance facilitators training and in workshops. Wilbert passed away in December 2020 but he left many hearts touched by him and by his teachings. Hearts that will continue to spread his knowledge and wisdom through their own life and work. I´m honored and grateful to be one of this hearts and to have learned from him, worked with him and shared my life with him. He and his teachings are completely alive in me and in all my work.
